April 2026 Fitness and Fundraising Challenge for Breast Cancer Now - photos from the walks around Thanet.
The u3a coffee morning in February had an extra bonus - a tour of the One:One Collection at the Hornby site, Margate. Thanet u3a had the privilege of being the first group to visit the unique collection of historic locomotives, rolling stock and maintenance vehicles – some of which are the only remaining example of their kind. The Wonderworks cafe even had a real Banksy!
A jazz evening was at Rosslyn Court to commemorate Carol Hudd a long term member of Thanet u3a and her love of jazz. Carol and her husband, Tony, organised the jazz evenings until late 2025 when Alex Clayton stepped in.
Coach trip to the London Museums at South Kensington January 2026.
Members soon dispersed to the V&A, the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum.
