This coffee morning on 23rd February is being organised between group leaders and committee members in my capacity as being the membership Secretary.
My main job is getting in new members and keeping them but I’m interested in all members. It is the members who make our u3a strong and we are open to all kinds of members.
Some join and take part in very few events, some join one or two groups, some come to most of the coffee mornings and talks for social interaction, some start their own group(s). You may have run your group for a long time or your group may be fairly new. I have been running the MOTO group for nearly two years and personally I would like to meet with other group leaders to get some tips regarding my group.
But how much do you interact with members outside your group? I’m hoping these coffee mornings will encourage more interaction and give you a chance to meet some of the committee members in a social setting.
