Our aim is to explore the great world of Nature. Outdoor meetings in the fair weather months have included pond dipping, birdwatching, seal watching trips and just admiring the variety of flowers on our special chalk grasslands. Members from the group research an area of interest and present their findings to the group during the winter indoor meetings. Talks have included topics such as octopus, fungi, the Thames Path and many others. None of us are experts in Natural History - we just enjoy learning about it.
In the table below, there are both our proposed future and past events and comments in italics about them. I have added other events if I think they are of interest to this group.

| THURSDAY April 23rd 11:30 | Walmer Castle | A wildlife walk with Walmer Castle staff - the bluebells should be out. Garden Group 3 will share this outingwith us. Lunch afterwards in the cafe? |
| March 11th | A visit to the Old Hoverport Ramsgate | An opportunity to walk around the site observing how it has been colonised naturally. |
